These terms govern your use of Braino — the browser extension, web app, and associated services. By using Braino, you agree to these terms.
Braino ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered browser extension and web application that lets you interact with web pages, delegate browser tasks, record audio, and more. The service is operated by the Braino team.
Braino is currently in beta. Features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly. We'll do our best to give advance notice of significant changes.
You must be 13 or older to create an account. If you're under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the service.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at talk2braino@gmail.com.
One account per person. Don't share accounts or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
You agree not to use Braino to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Automate actions on websites in ways that violate those sites' terms of service
Collect personal data about others without their knowledge or consent
Generate, distribute, or store content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, threatening, or defamatory
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the extension or service
Interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers, or networks connected to it
Use the service to build a competing product without our written permission
Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security measures
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
Braino's responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for verifying any information Braino provides before relying on it for important decisions.
Braino is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other specialist advice. Nothing Braino says constitutes professional advice of any kind.
You own the content you input into Braino. You also own the outputs Braino generates for you. We don't claim any rights over your conversations.
The Delegate feature allows Braino to perform actions in your browser on your behalf. By using Delegate, you authorize Braino to:
Click, type, scroll, and navigate within your browser tabs
Read the content of pages you direct it to
Submit forms and interact with web services on your behalf
You are solely responsible for the consequences of actions you instruct Braino to perform. Review Braino's planned steps before confirming irreversible actions. We are not liable for mistakes made during automated tasks that you authorized.
Braino is free during the beta period. When we introduce paid plans, we'll give you at least 14 days notice before charging existing users.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; you'll retain access until the end of your paid period. We don't offer refunds for partial periods, but if you contact us within 7 days of an unexpected charge, we'll work it out.
Prices may change. We'll give at least 30 days notice before changing prices for existing subscribers.
Braino, its logo, and all software, design, and content we create are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms grants you a license to use our trademarks or brand without permission.
The Chrome extension is licensed to you for personal use only. You may not redistribute, modify, or sublicense it.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use data. By using Braino, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BRAINO'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $50 USD.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill.
You can stop using Braino and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.
Sections 4, 7, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. For any disputes, we both agree to first try to resolve things informally by contacting us at talk2braino@gmail.com. If we can't resolve it in 30 days, either party may pursue formal resolution.
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll email you at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
